Alison Doody

Alison Doody has been an Irish model and actor from 11 November 1996. After her first small performance as an archaeologist Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade in 1989's Elsa Schneider - a Nazi-sympathizing character in A View to a Kill (Bond film, 1985), she went onto portray the Nazi-sympathizing Elsa Schneider. Siobhan Doovan played Charlotte as Taffin in 1988. Rebecca Flannery starred in Major League II in 1994. Doody was a model when she was approached. The result was that it turned out to be an extremely lucrative profession. Doody tried to stay clear of glamour and nude roles, that was a rule she incorporated into her acting. After being spotted by of the casting director of a new James Bond film she accepted an unimportant role as Jenny Flex in 1985's A View to a Kill. Doody was named as one the 12 most promising young actors in 1986 by John Willis Screen World. 38. Doody was only aged 18 at the time of her debut in the Bond part. To date, she is the youngest Bond girl. in 1987 Mickey Rourke starred in A Prayer for the Dying in which she portrayed IRA members Siobhan Doovan. Doody was Archibald Craven's wife Lilias as he portrayed his fantasy in 1987's television adaptation The Secret Garden. The Storyteller episode from 1988 included her in the leading role in the film Sapsorrow, alongside John Hurt Dawn French Jennifer Saunders. She starred alongside Pierce Brosnan in the film Taffin (1988) prior to taking perhaps her most well-known role to date as Austrian Nazi-sympathiser and archaeologist Dr. Elsa Schneider in 1989's Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade as a co-star with Harrison Ford. The film also starred Sean Connery as Indy's father Doody was a part of three actors in the role of James Bond. In 1991 Doody was co-starring with Jonathan Pryce in British mini-series Selling Hitler inspired by the publishing fraud known as the Hitler Diaries. Later, she relocated to Hollywood. She starred as Flannery on the screen in Major League II, opposite Charlie Sheen. After a long absence from the screen Doody returned to acting with a small role in 2003's British comedy film The Actors with Michael Caine as her character in the award ceremony scene. In 2004, Doody was in the film in a scene with Patrick Swayze alongside a TV adaptation to King Solomon's Mines. Also, she appeared as a character in Benjamin's Struggle (2005), a pamphlet describing the Holocaust. In 2010 Doody shot a part on Danny Dyer's feature film The Rapture (2010). Doody was later a guest on the medical drama of RTE The Clinic and was set to be the lead actress in a remake of the horror film The Asphyx but the project later stalled. She began her first two seasons on The E4 comedy Beaver Falls in 2011 as Pam Jefferson. In 2014, she was a part of We Still Kill the Old Way. The Almeria the tierra de film prize was given to her on November 21, 2018. The actress also was given an award on the Almeria Walk of Fame.
