Aisha Jamila is an American actor who is most well recognized for her appearances in the television shows The Shield and True Blood. Since her debut she has demonstrated her versatility by performing in series like Under the Dome, 9-1-1 Detroit and 1-8-7. The first time she was noticed was for her role as Anna in the film Assault on Precinct 13. But it was her performance as feminist campaigner Fannie Lou Hamer in the biographical film All the Way that finally brought her recognition as an actress. Hind's portrayal as Harriet Tubman on WGN America's period drama Underground was likewise highly praised. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television announced that the series will continue for an additional season. Hind has completed the production of the Hollywood film Godzilla: King of the Monsters that is scheduled for release in mid-2019. Her father Krishnaraj is an Army scientist who died on March 18 2017 and her mother Vrinda are both housewives. Aditya, who is an engineer working in the Merchant Navy and is also her brother, works for her. His brother wrote and produced Dil Ka Rishta, along with his mom. Arya Vidya Mandir, Mumbai was where her parents relocated to. Jai Hind College where she studied for an entire year finished her second year of school before enrolling in D.G. Ruparel College, Matunga. The college scored 91% on her H.S.C. exams. In her adolescence, she studied ballet and music for 5 years. Zuology was her favorite subject. Bachchan, who was then studying architecture, won the title of Miss World in the year 1994. The title catapulted Bachchan into the fast-lane of modeling. The model was offered lucrative jobs for PepsiCo Inc. and Vogue magazine, as well as an ambassador contract with L'Oreal Paris in 2003. It is a thriller inspired by Rabindranath tagore's novel. She was the first Indian to join the jury of the Cannes Film Festival. Bachchan was in Bride and Prejudice, a dance and musical adaptation of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice by Gurinderchadha. Bachchan could bring her beauty and star power to her first major English language film. Prior to releasing Provoked: A True Story 2006 in English, she went back to Bollywood to star as a co-star in Dhoom: 2 (2006 smash film). She was married to Abhishek Bachchan, co-star who is the child of Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan. This marriage brought two of India's most influential personalities to one another.
